Scholarships
Many scholarships will be awarded—some for teachers and administrators, and some for student teachers. Scholarships are awarded based on the quality of applications.
What You Win
The scholarship covers tuition fees, and course materials for one 2026 Winter Academy workshop or institute. Travel, accommodations, Bonus Materials, and graduate credit are not covered. If you register for Kagan’s 2026 Winter Academy and are selected to receive a scholarship, your registration fees will be refunded.
Winners
Kagan’s Scholarship Committee will review applications. Winners will be announced via e-mail on or about December 1, 2025. All winners will be contacted by e-mail. Winners may be required to write a very brief article of their experiences for Kagan Online Magazine. Winners will also be required to submit a digital image headshot for scholarship promotional purposes.
