Each partner receives a game board with a string of beads and shape game pieces to place on the game board. Partners sit on opposite sides of a barrier so they can’t see each other’s game board or game pieces. Partner A arranges the 2D shape game pieces on each bead on the game board. Then, using only verbal communication, Partner A describes to Partner B which shape goes on each bead so they can make a match with the 3D object. For example, “Put the object that is in the shape of a heart on the first bead.” When they think they have a match, they compare arrangements and celebrate.
