summer academy
Hi There! Has anyone ever done the summer academy in Orlando? I was thinking about bringing my family down to enjoy time at Disney as well as my time at the training. Does anyone know what time the training ends each day so I know if it would be worth trying to bring my family too? Thanks so much!

Hello Kristy,
Below is the schedule for training at the Summer Academy in Orlando:
Weeklong (5-Day) Institutes:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Wednesday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
All Other Workshops:
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Daily
Past attendees have turned their training into a family vacation. Not only is Disney World nearby, but families have enjoyed time at the resort pool as well as at Disney Springs during training time. Please let us know if you have any further questions. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

Re: summer academy
I brought my family! Training ended each day at around 4 or so. There was time in the evenings to do fun things. We went to the Boardwalk several evenings and a great time each time we went. We stayed over one extra day so that I could take in Magic Kingdom. My family has been to Disney several times, so I let them hang out at the parks during the day, with my husband. They loved it! (My kids were 12, 13, 15, 16, and 18 at the time. The 20 year old had to work.)
