Geometry structures.

Post by drew03 » Sat May 13, 2017 5:18 am

Hi, I'm new to the forum and Kagan. I am looking to introduce some structures for a 1st grade lesson on positional language - whole, half, quarter and three quarter turns. Has anyone used any structures for this before or could anyone offer me any suggestions/ideas for the lesson? Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello Drew,
We know there is memory in muscle movement. I would use kinesthetic symbols to solidify the content. Be sure your students say it and do it at the same time to place the content in more places in the brain. Hope this helps. Thanks
