Partners sit on opposite sides of a barrier so they can’t see each other’s game board or game pieces. Partner A arranges the ending sound game pieces on each area on the game board. Then, using only verbal communication, Partner A describes to Partner B which ending sound goes on each area of the game board so they can make a match. For example, “Put a picture of a word that ends with ‘ck’ in the left box of the middle row.” When they think they have a match, they compare arrangements and celebrate.
