Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about the human body. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “You blink approximately __________ times per day.” The matching card gives the answer to fill in the blank, 20,000. Every student in class receives one card with either a body fun fact or the answer to complete the body fun fact. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the body fun fact card and asks, “You blink approximately __________ times per day. What number goes in the blank?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with the answer 98.6 degrees. He asks, “What is a possible statements to which 98.6 degrees could be an answer?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
