Music

Post by rachel.treaster » Thu Apr 12, 2012 12:30 pm

Often times, as trainers, we are asked where we get our music for our trainings. Kagan has a great selection of music already put together on CDs with Hits for the 50's and 60's. We also have amazing music that is set at 60 beats per minute. This type of music helps relax the body but keeps the mind alert in our classrooms. One example of these CDs is the set of Brain Booster Music that is this months item on sale! What a great resource for your classrooms! Another source I like to recommend is Eric Jensen's Top Tunes for Teaching. This book organizes music by genre and can be very helpful when gathering music to be used in the classroom and can be found in the Kagan catalog. Enjoy!

GREAT information, Rachel! The music you suggested and more can be found here: http://www.kaganonline.com/catalog/music.php. We also now offer new Cooperative Learning and Music and Match Mine Music books to help round out our CD selection. Thanks again for the tip!
