Based on years of experimentation and research, Dr. Spencer Kagan has perfected simple instructional strategies that dramatically increase the achievement of low achieving and low ability pupils. In this active workshop, you experience these strategies and learn ways to adapt them to your own classroom. The simple Kagan Structures for Achievement are used world wide to accelerate achievement; the Kagan instructional strategies are research based and proven successful. The Kagan approach has two outcomes: Excellence and Equity. That is, it not only boosts achievement for all students (excellence), it decreases the gap between low and high achieving students (equity). The strategies work by lifting up the lows while accelerating the achievement of all students. Come learn how to apply these easy-to-learn instructional strategies in any lesson, at any grade level.
